Global Children's Foundation
Why support God's Gift? Because..... "Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him." Psalm 127:3
God’s Gift International began with a passion for helping children in need. Our founder, Brian Dalton, was deeply moved by the suffering of children affected by human trafficking, war, abuse and neglect, hunger, homelessness, inadequate healthcare, and lack of educational opportunities, and was determined to take action. Through our Global Children’s Foundation, we are committed to supporting and protecting vulnerable children around the world by helping provide the resources, care, and opportunities they need to build safer, healthier, and brighter futures. Our Youth Ministry and Youth Ambassador Program play an important role in this mission by empowering young leaders to participate in service projects, outreach initiatives, and fundraising efforts while helping grow our 1 Million Hearts Movement and inspire others to join our global mission. Together, these programs connect youth leadership with meaningful action for children and communities in need. Our commitment to making a difference in the lives of children is at the heart of everything we do. These children are our future, and every child deserves to be protected, supported, loved, and treated as the precious gift they truly are.
Children Of Human Trafficking
Well over 2 million children go missing every year, with many of them tragically becoming victims of human trafficking. These figures only account for the documented cases we are aware of, highlighting the grim reality of this global crisis. In addition, millions of undocumented children also vanish annually, slipping through the cracks of official systems and leaving their fates uncertain. Shockingly, it is estimated that approximately 12 million children and teens worldwide are currently trapped in modern-day slavery or human trafficking. This deeply troubling issue demands urgent attention and action from individuals, communities, and governments across the globe.
A Global Call to Action: Addressing Child Hunger and Homelessness
Over 330 million children around the world are currently enduring the devastating impacts of hunger or homelessness. These young lives are faced with unimaginable challenges every single day, lacking access to basic necessities such as food, shelter, and safety. This crisis demands urgent attention from individuals, communities, and global organizations alike. Together, we can work towards creating sustainable solutions to ensure every child has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and hope for a brighter future. Join us in making a positive difference by raising awareness and taking action today.
Children of War
Over 473 million children around the world are either directly impacted by wars or struggling to survive in conflict zones and refugee camps. These young lives are marked by hardship, instability, and a lack of basic necessities such as education, healthcare, and safety. Living amidst constant danger, many of these children face unimaginable physical and emotional challenges that rob them of their childhood. It is crucial to raise awareness about their plight, offer support, and advocate for global efforts to provide them with the protection and opportunities they need to rebuild their futures.
Protecting Our Children: A Global Responsibility
Roughly 1 billion children around the world are experiencing violence, abuse, or neglect. This alarming figure highlights the urgent need for action to safeguard the most vulnerable members of our society. Children deserve to grow up in environments that nurture their well-being, safety, and development. Addressing this crisis requires a collective effort from governments, organizations, and individuals to raise awareness, create effective policies, and provide support where it’s needed most. Together, we can work towards breaking the cycle of harm and ensuring a brighter future for every child.
Education Crisis: A Global Challenge
Around the world, more than 250 million children and youth have no access to school at all. Even among those who are enrolled, an estimated 617 million are not learning basic reading or math skills. This is largely due to factors such as poor quality education and the lack of essential tools like books, trained teachers, and safe classrooms. The situation is particularly dire in low-income and conflict-affected regions, where millions of schools are without basic infrastructure such as clean water, sanitation, and secure facilities. This not only hinders learning but also puts children’s health and safety at significant risk. Globally, nearly one in three children either have no school to attend or are in schools that fail to meet even the most fundamental conditions needed for safe and effective learning. Help us transform the lives of these children and make a lasting impact.
